The Discovery!:
In 1922, Howard Carter discovered King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Cater began his search for the tomb in 1891 after World War I. When Carter entered the tomb, they were surprised to see that most of the things inside the tomb were still intact. Some of the artifact’s he found inside the tomb were oils, toys from his childhood, sautés, and much more. The work of some of the artifacts of each objects were so well done and delicate that it put Egyptian art on a level they never would have comprehended. The most precious thing that was found was the stone sarcophagus. The third coffin is what held King Tuts body. At That time his body had been preserved for more than three thousand years.
